On Halloween, we went over to a family's house for dinner. They live just down the street from us.
Their boys LOVE Bailey. They honestly cannot get enough of her. They play with her every Sunday after church. They'll do whatever they can think of to make her laugh (jump around, do push ups, play peekaboo, let her pull their hair). It's the cutest thing to watch. They even sometimes ask their mom if they can come over to our house so they can see Bailey.
Their youngest boy went and found some toys for Bailey to play with.
Then we went trick or treating with them. We didn't actually trick or treat, but we walked around with them. Bailey obviously isn't old enough to eat candy, and Skigh and I don't need any, so we just walked and watched the boys trick or treat. It was fun. This was also the first time we had been out trick or treating since we were kids. As we were walking around, we realized what a strange holiday Halloween is. You walk around in a costume and knock on complete strangers' doors and ask for candy. And then you never see them again until next Halloween. I love it though. Halloween is such a fun holiday.
It was a nice day...high 60s, low 70s...perfect for trick or treating.
We stayed out a little later than we had planned. Bailey was ready for bed.
It was a fun night.
