After Skigh defended his dissertation, we made a quick trip up to Rexburg, Idaho to visit my sisters Meagan and Beth and meet their new babies. Bailey was excited to meet her new cousins.
She met Lincoln Eric (about seven weeks old):
He was very intrigued by the lights.
And Kaylee Jean (about two weeks old):
She looks exactly like her mom.
It was fun to just hang out with everyone. Bailey was humongous compared to Lincoln and Kaylee. Here are all the cousins: Lincoln and Kaylee asleep on the couch, Bailey being fed while standing in her favorite wide-leg stance.
Good thing she didn't have any clothes on.
Bailey took a little while to warm up to everyone. This picture is funny because we were just sitting on the couch, and all of a sudden, Bailey decides to lean back and put her head on Beth's lap. This was a daring move for her. She wouldn't go as far as sit on Beth's lap, but putting her head on it is saying a lot. She's obviously trying to tell her that she likes her.

Eric and Mini-Eric:
Bailey had fun playing with her Uncle Eric and Uncle John. (John, somehow, I have no pictures of you. How did that happen?)
Bailey loved her cousins. She would just watch them and want to touch them. We had to watch her to make sure she didn't poke them. Sometimes she was sneaky.
Here she is cleverly playing a game on Lincoln's stomach, innocently enough.
But just when she thinks no one is looking, she goes in for the poke.
Darn it. The plan was thwarted by Uncle Eric. Maybe next time.
Meagan and Beth live about one minute from each other. So, we would bundle up the babies and go from apartment to apartment. They looked so cute all bundled up.
We tried hard to get some cute pictures of all three cousins, but it was much more difficult than we realized.

Bailey loves her cousins so much, she just couldn't leave them alone.
Kaylee and Lincoln were much more relaxed, just hanging out.
Lincoln started to cry a little. I think he was sad we took Bailey away.
Then we decided to try holding them for a picture. This time Bailey was great, but Lincoln and Kaylee started crying.
More rough picture-taking moments:
