After spending a few days in Minnesota, we hopped back on a plane and flew to Michigan to spend a week with my family for Thanksgiving. Bailey loves flying and gets so excited to get on the plane. When we landed in Chicago and the plane stopped, Bailey goes, "Yeah!" and started clapping. Everyone around us started laughing. It was funny. She usually cheers now when we land after a flight.
Skigh was asked once again to do a presentation for all the science classes at the middle school where my mom teaches. The kids always love it. He even had his picture in the Sturgis Journal after this one. It must have been good.
Dr. Lewis doesn't disappoint.
He did the presentation several times during the day. During one of his presentations, Bailey decided she was tired of being quiet and listening, so I had to take her out of the room. Luckily Grandma was available to entertain her with books.
At home, my mom made the mistake of letting Bailey wear some of my great-grandma's jewelry. She asked to put it on pretty much everyday after that. She LOVED it.
Look at that smirk. She knows she looks good.
This was also a favorite, playing "horse" with my dad.
What a fun grandpa.
My mom fulfilled her grandmotherly duty by making sure Bailey was constantly eating things she shouldn't.
Thanksgiving day. Bailey was trying on Great-Grandma Miller's shoes. She can't resist a pair of heels.
The feast awaiting us.
Hanging out while the final touches were being made.
Bailey had plenty of toys to keep her busy.
Lauren, the youngest of the Kellogg clan. Not so young anymore.
Grandma Kellogg and Great-Grandma Miller working their magic in the kitchen.
Finally time to eat. The plate of turkey was placed right in front of Bailey, close enough that she could reach, we soon found out. She didn't hesitate in leaning over and grabbing a huge piece of turkey. And she ate the whole thing. She loves turkey.
Skigh, Zach, and Lauren.
Great-Grandma, Grandma, and Tyler.
Poor Bailey couldn't keep her eyes open during dinner. She wouldn't take her morning nap, so she was exhausted. She was actually falling asleep while she was eating, so we quickly put her to sleep.
Grandpa Kellogg.
Later that day, we headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa Kelloggs' home. I was surprised at how Bailey took to all my cousins, or rather how they all took to her. She loved playing with them.
Abby and Riley took special care of her. It was so cute.
Bailey told them she wanted to play, "Ashes, ashes."
Later in the week, we got to watch Tyler play in an indoor soccer tournament. He did great. It was fun to watch.
Bailey, however, was apparently too distracted by the dirty windows and quickly tried to clean them. Her favorite thing is to ask for wipe, then proceed to wipe everything around her while also wiping her face here and there. I just love watching her use the same wipe to clean a public area and then her face.
My parents treated us all to an Amish-style dinner at the Essenhaus, one of our favorite restaurants. We browsed their shops before dinner, and Skigh found this ensemble for Bailey.
Our trips home always go by way too fast. It was already time to say goodbye.
Until next time.

Love you!
It looks like your Thanksgiving was so fun! I can't believe how big Bailey is, and by the way you look great. It doesn't seem like that long ago we were working at physical facilities. My how fast life goes. Happy 20-10!
Ugh, so sad we had to miss this. The food looks SO good and I miss the fam a lot. I love the pictures of Bailey in Grandma's earrings and neclace. I love how she was cleaning the windows at Ty's game..lol! So funny.
So sad we missed Thanksgiving festivities in Michigan this year. But, it looks like the trip was great. Bailey looks adorable in Grandma's earrings and necklace! I totally remember putting those things on. So funny.
