We spent Thanksgiving this year with my family in Michigan. Thanksgiving in Michigan means Skigh doing crazy things with fire for my mom's students. I think this is his third time doing it. He's becoming quite the celebrity at the middle school.
His loyal fans.
Thanksgiving in MI means staying in your pajamas and helping Grandma crush graham crackers for pie crust.
Thanksgiving in MI means playing with your cool Uncle Zach.
Thanksgiving in MI means fun arts and crafts.
(I think Bailey is upset here because I made her put an old shirt on over her clothes. If you know Bailey, you know you don't ever mess with her outfit.)
Thanksgiving in MI means walks to the park...
with Cloe...
yummy food...
time with Aunt Lauren...
Uncle Z,
and Great-Grandma Miller (plus her gravy)...
lots of hugs from Grandma Kellogg...
lots of eating...
playing with the dog...
naps...
piano playing...
playing with Aunt Lauren's phone (or anything that belongs to Aunt Lauren)...
going to the gym to play some basketball...
and spending lots of time with Grandpa Kellogg.
This trip was an especially exciting one because Bailey got to go to a movie theater for the first time.
Oh, yes, her first movie was at the good 'ole StrandTheater. Nothing fancy, but I guess it's appropriate since it's the theater I grew up going to.
She got to pick out one treat.
Let the show begin. We saw Happy Feet 2. She loved it.
A trip to Michigan is never complete without messing up Great-Grandma Miller's immaculate house.
(Sawyer got stuck in Grandpa Miller's chair. He didn't think it was funny, but we did.)
(Bailey had to try it out for herself.)
And it's never complete without a trip to Applebee's.
We also were able to make another Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandma and Grandpa Kelloggs' house. It's always fun seeing the Kellogg side of the family. Here's Sawyer with Aunt Bridgette.
And giving Cousin Alex (my cousin, by the way... weird, huh?) a hug.
I had to include these pictures of Bailey playing with the foam letters Grandma Miller gave her.
She was so proud of herself for getting them all in a row.
Here's to another fun-filled trip to Grandma and Grandpa Kelloggs' house.
