Seven Months

Yesterday, Bailey turned seven months old. She is getting so big! I can't believe how fast she's growing. Everyone always tells you it goes by so fast, but you don't really understand until all of a sudden your little baby isn't really a little baby anymore. It's kind of sad, but very exciting.

Bailey Update:
1. Bailey is now getting her third tooth (first one on top).
2. Last week, she started saying consonants a lot. She kept saying, "Mamamama," and, "Babababa." It's really cute.
3. This week, she can now sit up on her own and rarely fall over.

"Geez, Dad. Put me down. I'm trying to get my picture taken."

At least she still loves her mom....

....But she does get embarrassed when I give her a kiss and someone's watching. She's already too cool for that. Before I know it, she's going to be asking me to drop her off a block away from her doctor's appointments.

Bailey also LOVES standing up. A lot of times, I'll go to set her down on the floor, and she keeps her legs straight and won't sit. It's so funny. She's getting better at standing up while holding onto something, but she's still a little wobbly sometimes.

Bailey you are so old, pretty soon you'll be able to out run your wimp of a Mom so she can't leave you to die on the outside porch when she thinks a murderer is out there. Yeah... I know.

So cute. And Bailey..you will also be tough enough to laugh it off when your mom drags you out of her room by your hair, arm, leg...whatever it is she might choose to grab.
