I was a little sad when I found out we missed our first snowfall while we were away for Christmas. When snow was in the forecast a few weeks later, I didn't get my hopes up because people make a huge deal about snowstorms here, and sometimes you end up just get a few snowflakes. Well, this time the snow didn't disappoint. We got more snow than I've seen since we moved here. It was so much fun!
We have a little slope at the back of our yard, and we finally found a great use for it. It's a perfect sledding hill for little kids. (I admit, Skigh and I were having fun, too.)
I'm in love with this picture.
Bailey absolutely loved it. She liked being the one to carry the sled back up the hill.
By the end of the week, the snow was still here, but it was going to start warming up, so we decided to have some friends over to enjoy one last snow day.
Unfortunately by this time, the nice, fluffy snow was gone, and the little hill was almost pure ice. Some of the kids went down once, and then had no interest in going down again. Kind of funny. They preferred to just play on the swingset.
Then we headed inside for hot chocolate.
It was fun to see the kids play together in the snow since they don't get to do that very often around here.

I was hoping there would be a new post and you did not disappoint! =)
You look so stylish with your snow clothes! How fun. I love that first picture of Bailey. That was so fun having all that snow! I don't think it gets better than 1 week of a good snow and then going back to great weather the rest of the winter. =)
So fun! You did get lots of snow. You all look so adorable in your snow clothes. I, too, am in love with that picture of Bailey. She's so cute.
Go SNOW!! Looks like you had lots of cold, cold fun out there in your winter wonderland. The pictures of Bailey are adorable scrunching up her nose!!
