Bailey Turns THREE!

Bailey was very excited for her birthday this year. She especially enjoyed taking a ring off of her birthday countdown each morning. She would get excited whenever she realized she hadn't done it yet (usually during breakfast).

The night before her birthday, we had a surprise visit from her nursery leader. She had made Bailey a birthday cake. She was so excited.

Then the real birthday came. It was on a Sunday this year, and she got to wear a birthday crown during nursery and also came home with a birthday treat. Later that night, we had some friends over to celebrate. One of the first things Bailey asks when she knows her birthday is coming up is if her friends will be coming over. It's not a complete birthday if her friends aren't there to celebrate.

This year Bailey asked for a pink birthday cake. Someone at church asked what kind of birthday cake she wanted and asked, "Do you want a pink cake?" Bailey said yes, and I guess it stuck in her mind.

Some of these friends have been celebrating with her since her first birthday.

Sawyer had fun but was ready for bed.

She got some fun presents from her friends.

After everyone left, Bailey opened her gifts from us and all the cards she got in the mail from my family.

Nothing gets Bailey more excited than dress-up clothes.

She loves her princess dresses, as she calls them. She also got some fun puzzles.

She had a great day.
