Four Months

So, Bailey turned four months old quite a while ago (about 3 1/2 weeks ago), but we were in Colorado at the time, and it's taken me awhile to write about it. At Bailey's four month checkup, she weighed 16 pounds, 2 ounces (94th%) and was 26 inches long (97th%). She's still a big girl. She got four shots again, and, unfortunately, she didn't stop crying as quickly as she did last time.

Bailey has had a lot of firsts in the past month or two.
1. She grabs her toys and sucks on them.

2. She laughs.

3. She sucks her thumb.

4. She has a new deep voice that sounds more like a growl. (I miss her sweet, innocent voice. See video.)

5. She definitely knows when she's with Mom as opposed to anyone else.

6. She rolls over. She rolled over for the first time in April, front to back. She did it again the next week, and then lost interest. Last week, she rolled over from back to front, and now we can't get her to stop.

7. She still doesn't sleep very long at night (four hours is the longest, two is typical).

8. She tries to grab the water during her bath.

9. She loves splashing during her bath.

10. She loves sticking out her tongue and just leaving it there.

11. She had her first runny nose.

And the newest development,

12. She's getting her first TOOTH! A few days ago, we noticed that she has a bottom tooth coming in. Crazy. I can't believe how big she's getting.

This is one of the first times she reached for her toy.

She figured out that she can rest her legs on the activity bar. Much more relaxing.

She hates reclining now. She's much happier sitting straight up, so sometimes we prop her up on the couch.
