GE Carnival

On Saturday, GE held their annual Family Day. It's a day when all of GE employees can bring their families to tour GE. It's the one time during the year when we're allowed inside to see where Skigh works (everything is top secret). It was nice to see his office, where he eats, has meetings, etc. It's all been a mystery until now. On this day, GE holds a carnival with rides, games, food, and a dinner. The best part is that everything is FREE!

Bailey couldn't wait to get there. This was her first carnival.

We started with a tour of GE. These are some pictures of gas turbines. Skigh spent a lot of time explaining what he actually does, so I feel like I have a much better idea now.

Bailey looked so cute with her little wristband around her pudgy wrist.

When we got to the carnival area, we noticed a lot of people walking around with food. We had already decided we were going to forget about eating healthy and enjoy the carnival food! So, we went searching for the food booths. Then we found out that ALL the food was free! We couldn't believe it. We were honestly like two kids in a candy store. They had cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cake, ice cream bars, ice cream cones, ice cream sandwiches, french fries, snow cones, pop, and juice. It was very dangerous. We decided to try to eat some of everything. (Yeah, crazy, I know. It's been a long time since we've treated ourselves.)

Then we met up with some friends to go eat our free dinner. (Yes, more food.) The dinner was crazy! They had turkey, salmon, shrimp, steak, roast beef, hamburgers, hotdogs, bratwurst, and tons of sides and desserts. Out of control! Needless to say, we had a very enjoyable time, and we don't need to eat again until next Thursday.

Bailey spent a lot of time hanging out in her stroller.

Here she is enjoying a cold beverage.

By the end, she was ready to go. It was a fun day. We can't wait for the next one.
