Friday afternoon, someone rang our doorbell. When I answered the door, I found Skigh standing there with a dozen roses, Milk Duds, and a movie. He said he was there to pick me up for our date. He had taken some personal time off work so he could come home early. I was very surprised and excited.
First, he took me out to dinner. Yes, we did take Bailey with us. We decided to go to Chile's because we thought that would be a kid-friendly place. This is actually the first time we have gone out to eat just the three of us. We usually get takeout and eat at home. It was fun, and Bailey was very happy for almost the entire time.
She was all grown up sitting in her high chair and eating her finger foods.
After dinner, we put Bailey to sleep and then watched Leatherheads while I ate almost an entire box of Milk Duds. (I just can't stop eating those things.) Did you know this movie was filmed in Greenville? Very cool.

One of these days, we need to go on an actual date--just the two of us. Bailey is in bed by seven, so we should really take advantage of her early bedtime and get a babysitter to come over once she's asleep. It was a fun night though and much needed.

Wow! Skigh... you do things right!
Aw, that's so sweet. Good job, Skigh. Bailey is so cute...can I have her??
You don't know me, but Skigh and I were really good friend back at BYU (my maiden name is Katie Bell). I actually met you once last fall on the BYU campus.
Anyway, I came across your blog through Kim Sucher...she is my husbands cousin...follow that?
It is so fun to see how you and Skigh are doing. And your little Bailey is adorable. Please tell Skigh I say hello!
Go Skigh.
