When Bored, Use Bailey for Entertainment

There's one room in our house that still has boxes in it, and the other day, Bailey was rummaging around in it to see what she could find. She found a bag where I store bows, ribbons, and gift bags. And she also found this:

I think someone used this on one of our wedding gifts. I'm not quite sure why I held onto it. I guess I thought I might find a use for it one day. Boy, was I right.

When we don't go anywhere, the afternoons can seem pretty long. Sometimes you need to amuse yourself. Bailey is great for that.

But she'll let you know when enough is enough.

This reminded me of a time a few months ago when we still lived in our apartment. Bailey would start getting fussy in the late afternoon, but it was still too early to put her to bed. So, we needed to be creative to keep her happy. She LOVES water. So, I got a bowl of warm water and started dripping a little on her hands and feet. She liked this but soon grew bored. Then I started sprinkling a few drops on her head.

At least she's a good sport.


I hope she doesn't hold these moments against me when she gets older.
