We had our twenty-week ultrasound a few days ago. The baby is healthy and well.
We also found out the baby is a
BOY! We're excited. We were surprised with Bailey but wanted to know the sex of the baby this time. I wanted to know mostly because I felt so strongly at the beginning of the pregnancy that the baby was a boy, and I didn't want to be totally thrown off if it ended up being a girl. Also, it'll be nice to have the room set up and clothes bought. The ultrasound went well. The baby was sucking on his (weird to say HIS!) hands almost the entire time. I would think that was a pretty common thing with babies, but the ultrasound technician kept laughing and saying that was the funniest thing. I guess he's a more dedicated hand-sucker than most.
We got to see him swallow a lot of fluid--it's crazy how you can see the tongue move. We got to see him kick a little (but he was pretty calm through the entire ultrasound). And we also got to see him deal with a bout of hiccups. The next pictures taken of this baby will be taken by us. We can't wait.

This is the most amazing post ever. Little boy Lewis is the CUTEST thing in the world!! Bailey must be so excited to be a big sister (I crack up every time I think of when you told her she's getting a baby brother in the car and she started acting all hyper). You look AMAZING Berk!!! So, so gorgeous. You are such a cute preggo girl. We are SOOO excited for you guys and CAN'T WAIT TO see your little BOY! BOY! BOY!!!
