Christmas at Home

We decided to have our own Christmas once we got home from Colorado. It's just not possible to travel with all of our gifts. We made Christmas cookies, the kind my mom always makes. Bailey enjoyed helping with the sprinkles. She was very liberal with them.

These are the Cookie Maker/Cookie Taster aprons my mom got us. Bailey loves wearing hers.

We had to postpone our Christmas for a few days because I came down with a horrible sinus cold the day we got back. I had been getting sick for a while, but I didn't really get out of bed for a few days after we got home. When I was feeling a little better, we finally got all the presents wrapped and ready to go. We set everything up during Bailey's nap and surprised her when she woke up. No, the presents aren't gigantic; our tree is just really small. Don't worry, next year we'll get our first full-sized tree.

Bailey was very surprised and excited when she woke up and saw all the gifts.

She didn't hesitate to start grabbing presents.

She was so happy, she just randomly went up to Skigh and gave him a hug and a kiss.

We opened up our gifts for each other and also the gifts from my parents, grandparents, and siblings.

Some of her favorites were a new doll and a dollhouse.
We had a fun Christmas. Bailey has more than enough toys to keep her busy for a while.

K, I just can't believe how old she seems. She's growing up too fast! I got teary-eyed looking at these pictures of her...it's not fair that I can't be there to watch her grow up. Looks like you had a great Christmas. I love the picture of you and Bailey in your aprons.
(I don't know why but for some reason your blog doesn't show up as updated on my page until DAYS later...weird.)
