One of our good friends started up Field Trip Fridays. We go somewhere or do something every Friday. It's been so much fun. Our first one was a trip to the fire department. The kids got to climb up into the fire trucks and even got a presentation from the firemen about what the different equipment is used for. To be honest, I think they were a little young to fully appreciate this trip. The highlight for the 2.5 year olds was going inside the firefighters' mini van (they use it when they need to switch crews). There were no seats in the back, and the kids were screaming and running around inside it. They loved it. So funny.
It was a fun trip and definitely something we'll do again one day.
