We recently went to our county fair. I have great memories of the fair while growing up, so I was very excited to go. Unfortunately, this fair was nowhere near as nice or big as the one we had in Michigan. I was disappointed, but we still had a good time. Bailey absolutely loved it, so that's all that really matters.
We got to see elephants.
There was also a tiger show, the best part of the fair. I've never seen tigers at a fair before.
Bailey thought the tigers were pretty cool, but she was also distracted by a little boy sitting next to us and the roller coasters nearby.
This was the biggest tiger they had. He was huge.

and cotton candy (not her first time though). (Bailey has a Band-Aid on her face because she got a mosquito bite that she would scratch until it bled. It was getting pretty bad. She thought the Band-Aid was the coolest thing.)

I also wanted Bailey to go to the Pick a Duck booth. I remember doing this every time I would go to the fair when I was little. I loved it. And you always win something, so it's great.
We decided we had experienced all of the fair that we cared to experience and were ready to leave. On the way out, we met this clown who was giving away candy. You can see by the expression on Bailey's face that she was very skeptical of this strange-looking person. But inside, she was secretly loving it. While we were walking to the car, we had to say goodbye to everything: the fair, the goats, the chickens, and the CLOWN. Over and over again. She must have said, "Goodbye, clown," at least twenty times on the way home. And then she kept saying it while we were getting her ready for bed. The clown made quite the impression on her.
It ended up being quite a fun trip.

FUN! I love the pic of Bailey with her prize. And now I am craving fair food. What happened to Bailey's cheek? Your shirt, Berk, is adorble and I SORTA got a look at your belly. I would like a belly shot with your next post. What? You're not posting a belly shot every month with this baby??? Miss you guys.
SO fun!! I'm amazed to find out that most fairs are not near as nice as St. Joe County's which is kind of surprising to me!! Looks like you guys had so much fun. I love Bailey's outfit. Is it from Gap? And I LOVE your shirt Berk. It looks so good on you. You guys do fun stuff all the time. I'm starting to feel like a boring Mom... thanks a lot.
Awesome to see the tigers at the fair. Did you get to pet them?!?
Yes to the manditory belly shots!!!
The fair adventure looks like super fun. Food. Animals. Clowns.
Gotta love it. Our fair this year had a dollar day. Every ride/concession was a dollar!!!
I guess it was a huge success. Go figure!
That tiger on the fence would have totally scared me!
