We went to Table Rock for the first time on Labor Day. It's a beautiful spot in the mountains with hiking trails and a lake with a beach. We had a good time. It was our goodbye to summer.
They have a couple of diving boards. Fun.
Swimming break for a picnic lunch.
After we ate, we decided to take a canoe ride. We were originally going to take a paddle boat, but the wait was too long, so we took a canoe instead. Bailey's waiting for Skigh to buy the tickets.
I admit, I was a nervous wreck on the canoe. I thought it would be a nice relaxing ride, but I felt like we were going to tip over any minute. And Bailey kept wanting to move around which made it even worse. I was so happy to be on solid ground again.
It was beautiful though.
We went with our friends, the Torontos. Their son is only a few months older than Bailey, and they're best friends. They get so excited when they see each other.
After an ice cream stop on the way home, our day was complete.
