Skigh had to go to Italy for work, so my mom came to visit and help me out while I was gone. Thank goodness she did because I don't know what I would have done without her. It was so much fun having her here, and we kept busy doing something fun each day.
We started with one of Bailey's favorites, painting her toenails.
This guy hung out and enjoyed the show.
Or at least patiently waited until we were done.
It was a nice day, so we took a walk around the neighborhood.
The next day we went downtown to play in the fountains. We had actually never been there before (which I can't believe because they're so fun and FREE). I think it will become one of our favorite summer spots.
Bailey loved it.
Sawyer napped in his stroller but then woke up to join the fun.
At one point, a flock of geese flew over us and then landed in the river right next to us. It was pretty cool.
Water would shoot up randomly, so if you weren't careful...
Sorry, Mom.
After playing in the fountains, we fed the ducks. Lucky for them, they really like Cheerios.
Once we were done with the fountains and the ducks, Mom treated us to a nice lunch downtown.
And then we did some shopping. (No, we did not actually buy any of that.)
It really was such a fun day.

How lucky that Mom was able to come stay with you! Looks like you had a fun time. That's hilarious that mom got all wet. haha. That would have been really fun to witness I bet. :)
Wow, you have been seriously going to town on this blog! So much fun to read. Looks like you and your mom had a great time! Oh, and in the post before, I love that you guys went to 3 restaurants! Looks like persistence paid off, way to go!

That splash park looks SO FUN!! Lincoln would go crazy there!! Love the flock of geese. I'm sure you guys thought of Grandpa. We need to come visit and do all of this fun stuff with you guys!!
